Climate change justice

What is Climate Change?

Climate change is the long-term alteration of temperature and weather patterns in a region or globally.

Changes in rainfall patterns, wind patterns, extreme weather, arrivals of seasons, and more collectively is known as climate change.

How is Climate different from Weather?

Climate is different from weather as it is measured over a long period of time. Weather on the other hand can change from day to day or year to year.

What is Global Warming?

Climate Change often refers to the rising average temperatures of Earth’s climate system from the mid-20th century to present. The term is sometimes used interchangeably with global warming.

Temperature increase caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, is commonly referred to as Global Warming. But Global warming is also caused by natural processes like volcanic activities, variations in Earth’s orbit, cyclical ocean patterns and more.

Who is Responsible for Climate Change and who needs to fix it?

This is my recent favourite video on Climate Change.

It talks about growing volumes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases that humans have been releasing into the earth’s atmosphere. It takes a look at climate change with respect to countries, causes, excuses and how it is a global problem that needs to be addressed by all humans.
